ISTANBUL, July 30 (Reuters) - Leading Turkish household appliance maker Arcelik said on Monday it had bought a Chinese washing machine manufacturer as part of it strategy to expand in the region.

Washing clothes is not easy in space due to a lack of water. Astronauts often wear their clothes until they start to smell before discarding them in cargo capsules that burn up in Earth’s atmosphere.
